Our goal at Marjorie Jones is to teach, motivate, and inspire our students in an esteem-building atmosphere.  We have an   “open door policy,” and encourage you to speak with your child’s instructor regarding questions or concerns you might have.  We pride ourselves on our ability to keep the lines of communication open between Instructors and Parents.

Artistic Director:

Stephanie Pritchard- (Director); an alum of the Marjorie Jones Schools, received her BFA in Dance Performance and Education from the Ohio State University in 1999.  A current member of Dance Masters of Ohio, who has been teaching and choreographing in the Columbus area for 16 years.

Our Faculty:

Dara Berman-Cheung- received her BFA in Dance, with a focus on Choreography from The Ohio State University in 2000.  She has taught both in Miami, Florida and the Columbus area for the past 12 years.  Miss Dara is excited to begin her 8^th year of teaching for Marjorie Jones Schools.

Allie Bratton- has been dancing since the age of 3.  After performing with the Billy Bruce Jazz Force for 3 years, she joined the staff of Marjorie Jones in 2004.  She continues teaching Tap & Jazz, and choreographing for the competition team.

Susie Bratton- performed professionally and throughout the state of Ohio since a very young age. She has been teaching dancers from age 3 through adulthood for several years.  This will be her 13^th year teaching with us, and choreographing for our competition team.

Scott Brown-Heimlich- is currently on the faculty at Otterbein College and starting his fifth year with us, Scott brings 20 years of performing experience to the classroom.  Teaching since the early 1990’s, he brings a unique view to classical ballet training which allows the student to leave the classroom technically stronger and wiser each time.

Stephanie Doe- has danced for 20 years and taught the past three years at Marjorie Jones.  She has just completed her degree in Dance and Health Education from The Ohio State University.

Sequin Fannin- grew up dancing at Marjorie Jones Schools and has been teaching for the past 11 years.  Her daughter is currently a student at the studios.  Miss Sequin looks forward to seeing all of the students this Fall.

 
Katie Morrison- a 2007 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and Marjorie Jones School of Dance.  She recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in psychology and minors in math and chemistry, where she was also on the Wake Forest Dance Team.  She is now taking graduate classes at The Ohio State University before applying to medical school next year.

Loren Pennino (Guest Instructor) -an alumni of the Marjorie Jones Schools; attending The Ohio State University pursuing a major in child psychology. She has been a part of the Marjorie Jones family for the past three years teaching, working behind the desk, demonstrating and substituting.

Elissa Snouffer- has been dancing at Marjorie Jones Schools since 1998. She has just graduated from Upper Arlington High School and is currently pursuing her BFA in Dance at The Ohio State University. She is excited to begin her transition from student to teacher this year at Marjorie Jones.
