Costume & Recital Fees:


Costume Fees
for students participating in the Spring Recital will be due along with November tuition payments. 

Our Recital Fee is due in January each year for each family.  The Recital Fee includes admittance to the Spring recital and one DVD of the performance.



Tuition:

Tuition is based on a ten month payment schedule, September through June.  The registration fee, along with the first and last months’ tuition (September and June) are due at the time of registration.  Tuition for the months of October through May are due in full for all classes whether attended or not.  Tuition is non-refundable.  Tuition is due in full until written notification is given regarding the student or parents’ intention to discontinue classes.  The season includes 38 class lessons, the Winter on stage performance, and the Spring Dress Rehearsal and Recital.

Please note fees: there is a $15.00 late fee for any tuition payment made after the 10th of the month, and a $35.00 bookkeeping charge for returned checks. 

 

 

Studio Policies:

 

Class Attendance Policy:

            In order to take full advantage of the instruction offered, regular class attendance is essential.  Students are expected to attend class promptly and regularly.  Please call in advance to report an absence or inquire about make-up lessons.  There are no refunds for missed lessons.  Make-up classes are subject to availability and are scheduled at the Instructors discretion for illness and family emergencies.

 

1. Be on time for class.  No student will be admitted to class more than five minutes late, without the teacher’s permission.  Most students find it beneficial to arrive a few minutes early to prepare.

 

2. Proper Attire:

-CLASS LEOTARD: proper color and style.

-PROPER DANCE SHOES

-SECURE HAIR PROPERLY: hair must be secured off neck, out of face.  Accelerated ballet students must have hair in a bun.  All other students must have hair up; braid, ponytail, or other style that will not interfere with turns or head movements.

-NO GUM: Gum is not permitted anywhere in the studio.

-NO JEWELRY: never wear jewelry of any kind during class, it can be distracting and dangerous.

Dancers will be required to SIT and OBSERVE class if they are not in appropriate dance apparel.

 

3. Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended at the studio. All students, siblings and visitors under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times.  Children under the age of 6 MUST be accompanied by an adult in the restrooms.  The Marjorie Jones Schools are not, and will not be held liable, responsible, or in any way accountable for unaccompanied children or their actions.

 

4. No Street Shoes.  No street shoes are allowed on the dance floor (likewise DO NOT wear dance shoes outdoors).

 

5. No Food or Drink. No food or drink is permitted in the studio.

 

6. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
